It’s another peaceful day at the lake. Get outside and enjoy nature! Do it while you can, because the EPA is no longer policing industry as it did in the Biden administration.

From CNN: The current administration is telling the EPA staff to stop policing the oil and gas industry.

Fewer regulations and enforcement will undo the progress made under Biden and Obama. It will negatively affect the air you (and every other being) breathe, the soil you grow your vegetables in (and the soil that sustains all other life), and the water you drink, cook with, bathe in (and that supports all other life).

If that frightens you, then think about this: the people you elect can protect you or allow you to be harmed through the policies they enact.

Take the time to read and determine which members of the state and federal Houses and the Senate are supporting fossil fuels over renewable energy sources. Tell them what you want them to do. If the reps ignore you (like ours do), then hold a grudge and vote your values in EVERY election. It’s kinda like your actual life depends on it.

However, if you side with climate deniers and those who favor their wealth over health, and you will continue to vote for them no matter what, then I guess we will choke on smoke with you later!
